This is a WONDERFUL article. Love the link about Donald Trump's mother - wow! What a God ordained heritage! God bless Trump, God bless USA, God bless Israel - thank you Christine
“There is a character connection between rulers and subjects. When the Bible describes a king by saying, ‘He sinned and made Israel to sin,’ it does not mean he twisted their arm. It means his influence shaped the people—for good or for ill.” John Piper (2020).
The Bible consistently holds personal character as integral to good leadership. It does not envision a “good” leader whose character is deeply flawed, nor does it suggest a nation can remain untouched by the moral failings of its leaders. For this article to casually dismiss questions about Trump’s moral fitness is concerning and, frankly, does not reflect a biblical worldview.
I can’t help but wonder if your perspective is now shaped by your return to America. In a nation where, according to a 2020 survey, 75% of born-again Christians do not hold a “basic biblical worldview” (beliefs in the Bible’s accuracy, salvation, and Jesus’s sinlessness), and 60% view figures like Buddha and Muhammad as valid paths to salvation, it’s easy to see how cultural influences might obscure biblical principles.
The Church is not meant to install government leaders, and for you, as a spokesperson for the Kingdom, to overlook prophetic insight and promote such a contentious political figure is deeply disappointing. Your use of bold, oversized font to emphasize this endorsement only adds to the sense of misplaced priorities.
I doubt the sentiments expressed in this article will stand the test of time.
Hallelujah, what a relief, GOD BLESS ISRAEL, BIBI NETANYAHU AND PRESIDENT TRUMP. Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem and may the presence of GOD dispel any darkness over the people and land of Israel.
Excellent article and direction notes for prayer. Thank you, Christine, for your tireless service to the FULL Gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! May you be continually strengthened out of the intimate sacred communion with Messiah as He dwells richly in your heart and you in His!
Very Good Chris...GOD BLESS YOU AND TRUMP...PRAYING FOR BOTH,,,SHALOM...
