This is a deep subject and takes wisdom and prayer to understand the depth of spiritual forces at work. For some of us, we can see the spiritual battle but others, even family members, are totally blind to it and only see in the natural realm. My heart breaks to think that my own family can be lost for eternity but I trust Jesus that He will break thru to them. Yes, we have a large prayer assignment…as in the days of Noah.
The late Dr. Michael Heiser wrote much about angels, demons, the Nephilim. His central book is "The Unseen Realm". The connection between modern Gaza to Philistia and the Nephilim could explain the outright evil practiced, taught, and perpetrated there.
