As we remember the lightning Six Day War at this time 57 years ago, we rejoice that Jerusalem is reunified, and we continue to pray that after a head injury here in Jerusalem my beloved husband Peter will be speedily healed—unified and whole-- spirit, soul and body until the coming of the Lord! (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
Peter fell on his head out of an unstable office swivel chair onto a hard tile floor and was rushed to Shaare Zedek Hospital.
Although this is surely an ordeal and a fight for Peter’s life, the Lord is also granting ample opportunity to glorify Him in Jerusalem!
Each new nurse who comes on duty is curious why we are in Jerusalem. I haven't met a single staff member who knows anything about Christians who love and support Israel.
One nurse said astonishingly to me, "You believe in the Tanakh???? [the Hebrew Scriptures]."
"Yes, of course," I said, "the Hebrew Scriptures are the roots of our faith, etc.”
“You mean you believe in Yesu and also the Tanakh? How is that possible?”
I explained how it is so very possible because the New Testament concerns fulfillment of Bible prophecies in the Hebrew Bible.
“But what do you think about the Jews? Why do you think we have returned to this Land?”
“You are called by God to be a light to the nations.”
And on and on the conversations go.
When I left the ICU tonight I put Handel's Messiah on the TV for Peter to listen to because the staff say music is good for the brain.
Our friend Rabbi Yehudah Glick is himself a miracle and living legend. He survived four bullets from an assassin fired at close range. On Jerusalem Day Eve Yehudah ascended the Temple Mount to pray with 40 intercessors and the limbless evangelist Nick Vujicic who had attended the Knesset’s Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast.
Yehudah called me and asked me to say a prayer for Peter at the Mercy Gate (Golden Gate) so I proclaimed again Psalm 118: 17, "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord!"
Please pray:
--that Peter gains strength daily and fully recovers. He has yet to record the Book of Psalms with his anointed voice for the Jerusalem Channel.
--that blood from his head injury is absorbed and that he is fully healed according to Psalm 34: 14, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the LORD delivers him out of them all!” As Rev. Glenn Garland at the Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle prayed today, “We lift up Brother Peter and we give You thanks for the reality of Your Word! You sent your word to heal; healing is the children’s bread, and so we by the stripes of Jesus appropriate the wonderful benefit we have of healing for Bro Peter. Every cell of the brain be restored, lungs be restored, blood be restored, in Jesus’ name! Thank You Lord for the miracles, Amen!”
--that we can bring comfort and revelation as we share at this time in the sufferings of Israel. A soldier died on the ward today from a senseless motorcycle accident. There was much mourning and sadness as soldiers, friends and family came to the ICU to recite the mourner's kaddish and view the young man's body before burial.
Resurrection life!
With God all things are possible.

I stand in agreement for the healing of Peter Darg . May this be an opportunity to witness to everyone in the hospital that Christians stand with the Jewish people of Israel. May the Love of our Lord , Jesus Christ shine brightly . 🙏
When I read of Peter’s head injury just now I wept twice. First for sorrow at the thought of this gentle godly man suffering, and then with joy for his marvellous restoration. For Peter will stand again and be dressed again and set in his right mind once more. The full shalom of Malkut Shamayim will rest upon his brow. He will discern with chockhma and be steadfast. His heart will continue to dwell upon “whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honourable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue”
He is a man prepared for the days that are upon us.
Be strengthened and comforted in Adonai, dear Christine.
