Don't Google, Gobble Vitamin B (Bible)

We search Google wondering about our symptoms when we should be searching the Word of God

Most all of us have done it. We’ve suffered some symptom, and we have gone quickly to Google rather that believing God’s healing promises.

Today on the Global Prayer Gathering zoom of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ) the president Jürgen Bühler mentioned the testimony of a sick man who was searching the Internet, worrying about his symptoms.

Then he heard the audible voice of God say, “Don’t search Google, search the Bible.”

Indeed, within the pages of the Bible are all the healing promises we will ever need if we will have the faith to believe the Lord.

“Let’s take a healthy dose of Vitamin B, the Bible.” Dr. Jürgen exhorted.

There is also a resource that has helped me tremendously —the audio classic book “Divine Healing” by Andrew Murray. This link is three and a half hours long and can be listened to over and over again until faith drops into your spirit. Sometimes I listen while falling asleep. Andrew Murray was healed by the Lord, and his book is biblical, a fortification.

I am often inspired by Romans 4 where it says Abraham considered not his own elderly body when God promised him a son!

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

^“And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

^“And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.” (Romans 4: 19-22)

Sometimes, unlike father Abraham, we consider too much our own bodies. Rather, we should consider the Word of God.

To consider means to think carefully about something, typically before making a decision.

Welsh intercessor Rees Howells accompanied a young consumptive to the warm island of Madeira — there was no cure in those days for tuberculosis. By faith the young man was miraculously healed, but upon their return to Wales, Mr. Howells himself began to cough up blood. By faith he considered not his own body but BELIEVED the healing promises in the Bible. The symptoms disappeared.

Let us not be too quick to Google. Let us be quick to Gobble the Word of God. It has the power to save, heal and deliver us from destruction!
